What about Weight Loss? How easy can it be or is there an exercise to help lose weight

 

When you look in the mirror or try clothes on you only bought before Xmas and they are bursting at the buttons you sort of get a guilt thing going on in your mind after all no one likes to be told they’re fat or told by you’ve piled on the pounds since the last time I saw you?

 

Well, now that you are aware you’re over weight what are you doing to halt this process of piling on the pounds? Let’s find out what is a Calorie. And what, exactly, does the calorie do for us? Very simple the Calorie measures energy. When your body receives a calorie, it must do something with that energy. In other words, when you eat or drink something, your body has to accept those calories and deal with them. Now your body will either convert the energy (calories) into cells/tissue (anabolism) or it uses that energy (calories) to break down cells (catabolism).

 

When there is an excess of energy, and your body can't use this energy to deal with any needs at the time, (such as help you exercise or digest some food = catabolism), it will be forced to create cells with that extra energy. It has to. So, after figuring out that the energy can't be used to do anything it has to turn it into cells = anabolism and those extra cells? Yes indeed, you guessed it: added weight!

 

The real reason people gain weight is because they eat too much, and don't exercise...plain and simple. Does stress play a part? It probably does, but stress and cortisol management (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cortisol) are not the main issue.

Water is a natural appetite suppressant. Fill your stomach with a glass of water before each meal and you will find that you won't want to eat as much. This also works on snacking throughout the day, keep hydrated all day long and watch as your desire to snack decreases.

 

Is Yoga really the most effective way to lose weight without worrying about side effects? The main focus in yoga is always to bring unity between the mind, body and spirit. Although yoga asanas might help in weight loss, they are not specifically designed for weight loss. All yoga exercises help to tone and strengthen the body muscles that in turn help create a healthy body. Yoga enhances flexibility and helps you correct the problems caused by weight gain. However, yoga is not a quick fix to weight gain, but it can be an excellent long term alternative approach to weight loss and fitness.
